Beyond the gate
The paper trail writes itself
Every feature exists because someone running a jobsite asked for it at the gate. Nothing needs a second system, a second login, or a data-entry afternoon.
The live board
Name, company, trade, location and time on — searchable by name, company, or license plate when a truck is blocking the crane pick.
Muster mode
The board becomes the roll call. After-action reports print themselves — and when the count is uncertain, it says so instead of showing a confident wrong number.
The worker passport
Workers photograph their own safety tickets; the office taps approve. Expiring tickets warn the worker, badge the board, and email the safety officer Mondays.
Lone-worker check-ins
Working alone triggers timed check-ins by text. Miss one and the escalation ladder starts calling humans — automatically, day or night.
Hazards from the field
Any worker reports a hazard from their own phone, photo attached. It lands in the safety hub with a status and a paper trail, not in somebody's pocket notebook.
Reports that send themselves
Daily site reports email out at night; the weekly digest flags anything expiring, stalled, or missing. When an inspector asks who was on the deck at 2 pm, the answer takes one search.
Tally isn't your document control system. It works alongside whatever you already run for drawings and contracts — it just owns the gate, and everything that depends on knowing who walked through it.

Born at the gate, not in a boardroom
Tally runs on working jobsites today. Every feature was asked for by someone standing at a gate: lone-worker check-ins by text, hazard reports from the worker's own phone, daily reports that email themselves at night, plan-versus-reality checks fed by sign-in data nobody had to type twice. If the field wouldn't use it, it isn't in the app.
